War Criminals and the Quest for Justice

Along with the events of the Holocaust we have the perpetrators that either committed or were alleged to have committed some of the most brutal and indecent crimes against their fellow humans during one of the most shocking events of all human existence. Many of these men came from what one would consider average walks of life; some were doctors, lawyers, blue collar workers, white collar workers. Most were considered good family men of good moral character and background. Others were either known criminals or had criminal intentions right from the outset.

The following links provide more detailed background as to who some of these men were and what happened to them after the end of World War II in 1945. Some were tried for their crimes, some escaped to other countries. Many of those that escaped have since been caught and brought before various courts of law to establish their guilt and decide what their justice would be.
